After many overcast days of late it was so lovely to arrive in Port Stephens with the sunshine surrounding us. Kinga and Geoff’s wedding was the first of two last week and it was the perfect start to the weekend. When I spoke to Kinga before the big day she informed me that she had broken her hand playing soccer only a couple of days before. Luckily she only had a splint so it could be removed for photos, we took things slowly and it all fell into place. When I started photographing her details I asked about the Mickey Mouse ring. Geoff had proposed in one of the happiest places in the world. Disney Land! Being without the proper ring he presented her with the Mickey Mouse version. What a gorgeous little keepsake and such a fabulous place to get engaged! We had some beautiful skies that afternoon for photos, with one of my favourite shots on the breakwall shooting back onto Anchorage. The whole reception was fitted out in a wonderful travel theme, as I walked around getting details I was saying to myself “I’ve been there! Oh haven’t been there! Must go there one day! lol. Thanks Geoff and Kinga for a wonderful day, it’s always a treat travelling up to Port Stephens. I hope you love the photos as much as I do.
