Autumn Wedding Central Coast – Glen & Amy

Autumn Wedding Central Coast

Glenn and Amy didn’t want a big fancy wedding. So instead they tied the knot at home with Kate from Celebrate with Kate. I then met up with them later that afternoon to capture some beautiful memories for them. Amy and Glenn wanted a more country, autumn colour feel for the photos and I found the perfect spot for them. To finish up we then headed down to the lake for some sunset shots. It was FREEZING down there! Amy was such a trooper, she was totally covered in goosebumps but determined to get some great photos. It was a good excuse to get all cuddly and close for the shots. Thanks guys, so thrilled to be a part of your special day. x

Seacliff House Wedding – Gerringong – Gary & Rebecca

Seacliff House Wedding Gerringong

Road trip wedding down the South Coast to Seacliff House in Gerringong for Gary & Bec’s beautiful wedding day. I was super excited for their big day as we had also photographed Bec’s sister Georgia’s wedding a couple of years ago. Seriously I’m so lucky to be invited back to photograph siblings I must be doing a good job! lol. I loved how relaxed and laid back the whole day was. The boys and girls all shared the main house and got ready together. I could see straight away why Gary & Bec chose Seacliff House for their wedding. What a stunning venue with the most beautiful views. It’s like being in the middle of the country but with beach views, and with all of Bec’s beautiful boho themed styling it looked fabulous. I couldn’t believe it when I found out that Bec’s mum made her wedding dress! Seriously what a talented woman you are Debbie. With Bec being pregnant as well it worked out so well with having to amend the dress right up to the last minute. I also have to mention the amazing dance that Bec and her bridesmaids did after her speech. All the girls got up and did a beautifully choreographed dance for Gary. Not wanting to be left out the boys did their own human pyramid while the crowds cheered on. What a night guys. It was so good catching up with everyone including three other couples that we had photographed. We are seriously becoming part of the family. Thank you so much for sharing your big day with us x

Green Point Reserve Wedding – Lake Macquarie – Delyce & Brodie

You might remember Delyce & Brodie from their gorgeous love shoot that included their beautiful fur baby Zoe. They picked the most beautiful location to get married on the shores of Lake Macquarie at Green Point Reserve. We had the most spectacular afternoon and the best light for photos. Celebrate with Kate did a beautiful job on the ceremony and I loved that Delyce wore her mum’s wedding veil to walk down the aisle. After the ceremony we didn’t have to travel anywhere for photos the reserve was just perfect. The reception was held at the Belmont 16’s just a minute drive down the road. Thank you so much Delyce and Brodie for a truly beautiful day, we loved being a part of it. x

Equine Portrait Photographer – Hayley & Donny

This very last minute shoot came about as Hayley just found out that she had to give her gorgeous boy Donny back to his original owners. Hayley had put many hours into Donny and built a truly special bond that only a horse lover can understand. Donny taught Hayley so much and she has only grown from this experience and is ready to apply it all again to a new four legged friend. This was a really special shoot and I feel so privileged that I got to capture the last couple of special moments these two had together.

Central Coast Wedding at Home – Daniel & Nicole

I can’t tell you how thrilled I am for my good friend Daniel (Macca) finding his soul mate. I’ve known Macca for a long time, over ten years and I am so happy for him and Nicole. When it came to their wedding they both wanted something simple and not to extravagant. Macca’s parents property in Morisset was the perfect setting for the occasion. They spent many hours preparing the property and making all the decorations. What I loved best was that they wanted to do a first look. It’s quite popular in the USA for weddings but not so much here. For anyone that doesn’t know what a first look is well I’ll explain. Normally the first time the bride and groom see each other is when she is walking down the aisle to him. But with a first look the bride and groom meet before the ceremony somewhere quiet away from any guests. They see each other for the first time which makes for some beautiful photos. We then do all their photos so after the ceremony I don’t have to whisk them away and they can stay and party with their guests all afternoon/evening. This worked perfect for Macca & Nicole as they made it their day and didn’t stick to any usual traditions. Thank you guys for having me there as part of your special day and trusting me to capture all your beautiful moments. x
