Last weekend we had two beautiful weddings to photograph. To start with was Nicholas and Alisha’s in Port Stephens. There is something so alluring about Port Stephens, maybe it’s the crystal water or white silica sand but one thing I know for sure, it’s a beautiful backdrop for a wedding. We met up with Alisha at a gorgeous apartment that she had rented right on the beach in Soliders Point. The girls and Andrew the token male bridesmaid, were all ready when we arrived so it was straight into detail shots before we got her dressed. Alisha’s mum Annette hand made the most stunning brooch bouquets including a matching brooch boutonniere for Nicholas. The ceremony was held on the beach at Shoal Bay, Belinda Stanford did a lovely service including a sand ceremony to involve their two beautiful children, Mia and Ryder. We stayed on the beach for photos before heading back to Soliders Point where we finished on the Jetty in Pearson Park. Alisha and Nicholas like to fish so they wanted to incorporate a couple of shots into the wedding and as you will see Nick caught more than his beautiful bride. Thank you Alisha and Nicholas for inviting us up to Port Stephens, we had a blast.
