Wow! What an amazing action packed day we had with Peter and Jennifer. It included our first Russian Orthodox ceremony and hands down the best garter removal I have ever seen! Peter surely does have the moves.
Protection of the Holy Virgin – Russian Orthodox Church was just stunning. With chandeliers, colourful artworks and gold details decorating the interior, memories of Europe came flooding back. It was standing room only and with Peter and Jennifer exchanging rings at the door and then walking down the aisle together it made for a complete change that I loved.
After the ceremony as we headed back to Curzon Hall we stopped by the Auburn Botanical Gardens for photos. With temps above 40 degrees it wasn’t long before we found some sprinklers to cool off and also utilise for some great shots. Once we arrived at Curzon hall Peter’s mother held a small and intimate blessing. Part of the blessing was for each of them to bite into a traditional loaf bread and who ever took the biggest piece was to rule the house hold. Guess who won? Jennifer of course! Go Girl Power. The Sabrina room at Curzon Hall was exquisitely decorated with tall floral centre pieces and cascading flowers flowing over the bridal table. As the bridal party entered the room they broke out into the Harlem shake, with guests cheering and clapping along it set the scene for the whole night. Peter and Jennifer wow, what can I say? We loved every minute of your big day. Thank you so much for sharing it all with us. x
