You might remember Shane and Kimberley from that fabulous love shoot we did not long ago with that amazing vintage bike. She is also the sister of one of my previous brides Rosie. To be asked back to photograph another wedding in the same family is the biggest honour and means we must be doing our job right. It also means I had to be a little more creative as we photographed the girls getting ready in the same house.
Spending the day with Kimberley and her family was like reuniting with old family friends, who calls this work! The always amazing Ian and Trish from Grey Wolf Films were also there to capture the day as well.
Mt Tomah Botanical Gardens was the ceremony destination, and also a stunning backdrop for photos when the mist cleared and you could actually see the gardens. I was really hoping to find some cherry blossoms and on our way back down the hill we found the perfect spot.
The reception blew me away when I walked in, vintage themed with pastel roses and pearls dripping from the center pieces and the most beautiful flower reefs hung as a backdrop behind the bridal table. Nelly from Antique Blooms brought Kimberley’s vision together and didn’t she do an amazing job. Oh and I can’t forget to mention the great work of John on the wooden timber stands for the center pieces.
Shane and Kimberley I hope you enjoy your sneak peek as much as I do. x
